Welcome to Bonded! These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Bonded mobile application ("App"), our website at bonded-together.co.uk ("Website"), and all related services (collectively, the "Services") provided by Bonded Together LLC ("Bonded," "we," "us," or "our").

By downloading, installing, accessing, or using our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you don't agree to these Terms, please don't use our Services.

We may update these Terms from time to time. We'll notify you of any changes through the App or via email. Your continued use of our Services after changes become effective constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

2. Eligibility

Age Requirements

• You must be at least 17 years old to use Bonded
• Our Services are designed for couples and are not intended for children
• By using Bonded, you represent and warrant that you meet these age requirements

Account Requirements

• You must provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration
• You're responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
• You're responsible for all activities that occur under your account
• One person per account - accounts cannot be transferred or shared

3. Our Services

3.1 Core Features

Bonded provides features designed to help couples stay connected:

• Shared Diary: Write and share daily entries with your partner
• Mood Tracking: Track and share your emotional states
• Shared Calendar: Coordinate schedules and special dates
• Memory Map: Create location-based memories together
• Thumb Kiss: Connect through synchronized touch interactions
• Shared Spaces: Collaborate in shared digital spaces
• Notes & Drawing: Create and share notes with drawing capabilities

3.2 Relationship Connection

• Your account will be paired with your partner's account to enable sharing features
• Both partners must consent to the connection
• Content created in shared features will be visible to your partner
• When a relationship ends, both accounts and all shared data may be deleted

3.3 Location Services

• Some features (like Memory Map) require location access
• Location is only collected when you actively open the App
• We don't collect location data in the background
• Location accuracy depends on device capabilities and network conditions
• Your location shows where your device is, not necessarily where you are

4. Subscription

4.1 Subscription Plans

• Bonded requires an active subscription to access the app
• Subscriptions provide unlimited access to all features
• All features are exclusively available to subscribed users

4.2 Payment Terms

• Subscriptions are billed monthly
• Payment is charged through your App Store account (Apple or Google)
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled

4.3 Cancellation

• You can cancel anytime through your device's subscription settings
• Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period
• No refunds for partial months
• Both partners lose access when either cancels

4.4 Free Trial

• New users may be offered a free trial period
• You won't be charged during the trial period
• Subscription begins automatically after trial ends unless cancelled

5. User Content and Conduct

5.1 Your Content

• You retain ownership of content you create in Bonded
• By using our Services, you grant us a license to store, process, and display your content to provide the Services
• You're responsible for the content you share
• Don't share content you don't have rights to share

5.2 Prohibited Conduct

You may not:

• Use Bonded for any illegal purposes
• Share content that is harmful, offensive, or violates others' rights
• Attempt to access another user's account
• Reverse engineer or tamper with our Services
• Use automated systems to access our Services
• Violate any applicable laws or regulations

5.3 Content Guidelines

Don't share content that is:

• Illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, or harassing
• Violates privacy rights or contains others' personal information
• Contains malware or harmful code
• Infringes intellectual property rights
• Inappropriate for a relationship-focused platform

6. Privacy and Data

6.1 Data Collection

• We collect and process data as described in our Privacy Policy
• By using Bonded, you consent to our data practices
• Your shared content is visible to your partner

6.2 Data Security

• We implement reasonable security measures to protect your data
• However, no system is 100% secure
• You're responsible for maintaining the security of your account

6.3 Data Deletion

Deleting your account will permanently delete:

• Your user profile
• Your partner's account (with warning)
• All shared content and memories
• All photos and media files

This action cannot be undone

7. Third-Party Services

7.1 App Stores

• Bonded is distributed through Apple App Store and Google Play Store
• You must comply with their respective terms of service
• In-app purchases are processed through these platforms

7.2 Third-Party Integrations

• We use third-party services like Mapbox for mapping features
• These services have their own terms and privacy policies
• We're not responsible for third-party services' practices

8. Intellectual Property

8.1 Our Property

• Bonded's name, logo, and design are our trademarks
• The App's code, design, and content are protected by copyright
• You may not copy, modify, or distribute our intellectual property

8.2 License to Use

• We grant you a limited, non-transferable license to use the App
• This license is for personal, non-commercial use only
• The license terminates when you stop using our Services

9. Disclaimers and Limitations

9.1 Service Availability

• We strive for 99.9% uptime but don't guarantee uninterrupted service
• Services may be unavailable due to maintenance or technical issues
• Features may change or be discontinued with notice

9.2 No Warranties

• Services are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind
• We don't guarantee the accuracy of location services or other features
• We're not responsible for relationship outcomes

9.3 Limitation of Liability

• Our liability is limited to the amount you've paid us in the past 12 months
• We're not liable for indirect, consequential, or punitive damages
• Some jurisdictions don't allow these limitations

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Bonded harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from:

• Your violation of these Terms
• Your use of the Services
• Your content or conduct
• Your violation of any laws or third-party rights

11. Termination

11.1 By You

• You can terminate your account anytime through the App settings
• Termination will also delete your partner's account
• No refunds for unused subscription time

11.2 By Us

• We may terminate or suspend your account for Terms violations
• We may discontinue the Services with 30 days notice
• Serious violations may result in immediate termination

12. Dispute Resolution

12.1 Governing Law

• These Terms are governed by the laws of Delaware, USA
• Disputes will be resolved in Delaware courts

12.2 Arbitration

• Most disputes must be resolved through binding arbitration
• You waive the right to jury trials and class actions
• Small claims court remains available for qualifying claims

13. General Terms

13.1 Entire Agreement

• These Terms constitute the entire agreement between us
• They supersede any prior agreements or understandings

13.2 Severability

• If any provision is unenforceable, the rest remain valid
• We'll replace invalid provisions with enforceable alternatives
